Venezia

Venice you clowns.

Megs cruises into Venice on the water bus.

View from the water bus as it manages the busy Grand Canal.

Our very Venetian room.

Follow the music and you find the only late night spot in Venice.

Piazza San Marco

San Marco's

The building we dubbed the Louis Vuitton.

Megan's Venetian villa.

Walking the canals.

A very flaming photo.

Megan after her visit with the Cheese man, enjoys his delicacy, in order, as she thinks of him fondly.

Taking the water bus out of town.

Firenze

The view just outside our hotel door on the Piazza de Signoria.

Pic of the bedroom in our massive apartment on the square.

Megan just after narrowly escaping death on the merry-go-round.

Ponte Vecchio

Duomo. One of the largest churches in Europe. Massive.

Megan climbing the dome. 463 steps from bottom to the top of the Duomo.

The painting on the inside of the dome.

Don't look down.

Worth the hike.

Gorgeous

All growed up and sophisticated.

We deserved a drink after all those steps.

The happy couple.

Ciao Florence.

Rome…yes?…continue

The first thing we saw in Rome. Incredible.

Incredible.

"Hey Megan"
"Yeah Palmer?"
"Did you see that ridiculously old stadium behind us?"

It's just so old!

When in Rome! (Guess you all saw that one coming) Drink a giant mojito in the Trastevere.

Awesome obelisk that the Romans stole from the Egyptians. Stands in the center of Piazza del Popolo.

View of the city from over the piazza.

Look closely and see me chilling on some very old ruins that overlook the piazza.

Palm trees cast shadows on the buildings surrounding Piazza di Spagna.

Via Condotti and the Spanish Steps.

Monumento a Vittorio.

Flippin old and amazing. The Pantheon.

The domed roof of the Pantheon, ocular and all.

Wine, cheese, prosciutto, and a view of the Pantheon.

Back to the Colosseum for a daylight view.

Megan dreams of Gladiators.

I dream of being mulled by a tiger in front of thousands.

From the upper deck of the Colosseo.

Palatine Hill.

Just amazing to actually see all this in person. Beautiful.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Bonjorno from Italy! Today were not having a home cooked Turkey dinner with the family... but don't worry... we are not going hungry thats for sure.

Hope everyone is enjoying the day. Were missing our families very much and hope you enjoy the meal (eat some potatoes and stuffing for us). We will be at a Carnivale Show and then having vino and pasta in Venizia but still Celebrating Thanksgiving in spirit.

Salute!

Catching up in Hamburg!

I am a bad blogger lately. Here is a quick catch up from the last couple weeks.

BMW Experience in Munich. Had a meeting there for work. Group party with all the Central Europe Interbrand offices. Makes me want a Beamer!

Visit to the new Munich office, nice space!

Party that night with all the people. The masks didn't last long.

Megan enjoys taking pictures of Franny and me in her spare time.

Sometimes she enjoys abusing Franny and me.

Popular Grosse Freiheit in Reeperbahn, home of strip clubs, concert venues and where the Beatles got their start.

Picture from The Streets concert. Awesome show. Better than expected.

Post Streets concert. Megan was ecstatic she loved it, I think she may really have just loved him.

Chugging post Streets.

Who is that? Crazy Red Bird Lady! Halloween in Hamburg.

Not much creepier than a random dude wearing a clown mask.

When ze Germans don't celebrate Halloween, you just have to make your own celebration. This calls for some bubbly.

Megan and the German ladies before we hit the Reeperbahn.

Another group photo. I think we were the only ones dressed up on the entire street. The rest of the people seem to dress like it is Halloween all the time.

Megan and Emma all bloodied up.

Megan loves harassing DJs.

A beautiful rose for a beautiful bird lady. Sorry my camera has a sticky lens cap thingy.

Emma's friend who lives on the Reeperbahn, not even going to try to get his name right. Good Times!!!

Wow! It is even creepy when a lovely young woman tries on the mask!

The 8,000 stairs we had to climb to the club where we saw Vampire weekend. Megan really, really enjoyed the show!

Shot of the guys on stage. I enjoyed it. Megan, not so much. Apparently she doesn't find being stuck in a small loud room with smelly young Germans pressing and pushing against you much fun. Not sure what her problem is.
