Technical Difficulty

Things may be a little slow for a couple of weeks. My 5 year old laptop is officially dead. Still exploring ways to resuscitate.
Please bow your head in a moment of silence.

An Extra week in LondonTown for Megs

Megan extended her trip and spent a weekend in London. The results were smashing. Good times all around. Here are a few highlights.

Valentine!!!! and Birthday girl!!!!!!

The flat may be pretty empty but we still filled it with good times. Champagne to finish the night after a good dinner at Grafton house and drinks at Megan's favorite Inigo!

The first trip on the London Eye. You know the giant Ferris Wheel. I think the pods turn into boats and float.

The view from the top. Stunning.

Burning down Camden Town!! That isn't that funny since half of it burned down while we were in Paris. The damage wasn't too bad. Still plenty to see and do!

Farewell Megan. Can't wait 'til next time.

Partying in Paris

The nightlife!!!

A small little club in the 6th, St Germain. A cellar club with a good mix of music which Megan very much enjoys.

Same club. Awwwww.

Megan and Vince stop to pose at Mix. A very expensive but nice super club. Full of young little Eurotrash kids. And a creepy painter man. All and all a hilarious destination.

Shot of the DJ booth and dance floor at Mix. The layout and design of the place was pretty impressive. Not sure it was worth the 20 euro entry fee!

Enjoying one of the many outdoor cafes on our last night. This one was in Les Marais near the hotel and Place de Vosges. Great little shopping area on Rue de Bourgeois.

Paris Day 2

Another gorgeous day in Paris. Sleep in, recover, eat some breakfast and go!

The Metro - not the nicest but it works and the graffiti is sick.

A view from the top.

Sharing the moments.

Le Arch De Triomphe. I never new you could go to the top of this. Weird. Remember European vacation when they drove round and round. Hilarious.

It's all so beautiful.

Paris Day 1

Bonjour!

Yeeeaaahhhh!!!! Eurostar to Paris with the lovely Megan. What an amazing place. Hotel Des Archives in Le Marais was a killer homebase. The morning train was the start of a great weekend with full days and long nights. Can't wait to go back!

Notre Dame is absolutely incredible in person. The photos from Art History class do it no justice. Neither does this one. But it is on here anyway.

The Louvre is gigantic. You could spend days here. Just walking the grounds is inspiring.

Euro…very, very Euro. A ridiculous self portrait for everyone to make fun of.

Sweet art shot of the Louvre. A great reflection on the two styles of architecture.

The hotel. Great place, very large and clean for Paris. The shower was incredible.

Natural History Museum

In my on going effort to soak in as much culture as I can, I stopped by the museum last weekend to learn something about dinosaurs and mammals. It will definitely take another visit to see the other sections.

I fought my way through a bunch of miserable little British brats and families to see a somewhat disappointing dinosaur display complete with a Chucky Cheese style, life size, anamatronic T-Rex. Oh well. The building is pretty amazing!
