Evening sun on Edinburgh Castle.
Shut up and eat your haggis! A Scottish tradition, I had to try it. Sheeps pluck - heart, liver and lungs mixed with some more edible things like onions and oatmeal. Surprisingly like goetta! Who new?
Edinburgh Castle. Old, very old. William Wallace and Robert the Bruce statues out front.
Me and some ruins of the Cathedral at Hollyrood House Palace. The Queens residence when she summers in Scotland. Must be nice.
Took a little hike to the top of the craig that over looks the city. Great little hike with an amazing view of the city and castle.

Photoshop CS3 is sweet. It automatically creates panoramic montages. Amazing. Damn I am a geek.
A night of drinking with Mom & Dad is always a good thing. The White Hart Pub (claims to be the oldest in Edinburgh) was the setting for some live acoustic covers of classics like Roger Miller's King of the Road. Long walk back to the hotel when they decided it was time to shut down. Good times.
Eilean Donan Castle near Loch Ness. Pretty sweet, but would have been sweeter if the tide was in.
Kilt Rock on the Isle of Skye. Looks kind of like a kilt and its in Scotland. Weird.
The harbor at Portree in Skye.
Fishing boats at the harbor in Oban back on the mainland in Scotland.
The harbor town of Oban.
Shaggy haired Highland Cows. Hippy freaks, get a hair cut.
George Square, Glasgow. A train back to London for me while Mom and Dad travel south through England and Wales before heading back to London.
Great trip, glad I was able to take a trip like that with the folks again. Just like when we were kids. Hope you enjoy the rest of yours Mom and Dad!!
