Prague

Inside the Apartment Skoropky. Nice little flat, directly in the middle of it all. Cheap too!

Apartment bathroom.

Megan makes herself out home by loading her entire wardrobe and shoe collection into the closet. Never no what you might need on a 3 day weekend!

The enchanting streets of Prague.

At the base of the Charles Bridge with the castle as a backdrop!

My turn!

Old Town Square.

The astronomical clock in Old Town Square.

Megan on the square.

Me outside of the famous Czech writer Kafka's museum. Don't ask me what the relevance of a peeing statue fountain is???

Strapped in, awaiting flight on a giant helium balloon. Sounds safe enough.

Megan was a little nervous!

Just happy to be alive.

View from the top.

Its all so beautiful.

Megan gets a little more comfortable.

Fear of heights conquered, Megan stops to take a snap with the Captain.

The red roofs that dominate the castle side of the river.

Modeling for my future marble statue.

Megan poses for her likeness.

Heading out, quite the all night atmosphere in Prague.

Finally were in the same pic.

We be clubbin!

Out at our favorite spot. Chapeau Bar.

Megan took me to school on the Chapeau table football. I am ashamed. Not sure what happened.

First real night in the mental Reeperbahn

Sausage stand for all your "worst"!

The people filled streets.

Megan with some of the girls from the office. Hello Emma and Kristin.

Things get a little sloppy. Reeperbahn is insane until 6 am.

Hamburg

Canal in Hamburg near the office.

Boats in Harbor City. All the old warehouses in the background.

More canal shots.

Tour boats traveling the canal.

Hamburg housemates Frannie and Megs in the apartment.

Our neighborhood, Schanzen, at night.

One of the many tall church steeples in the city.

Beautiful area of shopping and dining along the Rathaus Square canal.

More Oktoberfest Munich

The empty fair grounds at 7:45 in the morning as we strolled in for our day of festivities!

Typical Bavarian beir tent.

Our home for the next 12 plus hours, Hofbrahaus. No, that is not in Newport, Kentucky.

Doors open at 9 the mad dash to secure a table ensues.

The team.

9:15 the hall is filled.

"We're probsting, were probsting"

Where the beir flows.

Some Oktoberfest pics!

Unbelievable! Madness, the mayhem that ensues to gain entry to the Hoftbrahuas tent is incredible. Pictures of the tent to come (still trying to get internet at the apartment, harder than it sounds here in Germany). We were in line before 8am for 9am entry. Chugging giant liters by 9:30. We held on until after ten when we decided it was necessary to change venues and get another beir!

Lora in a "candid" shot with some of our Kiwi neighbors!

Sweet dirndel!

One of our group Kurt smashed with one of the Aussie's. We were happy to be surrounded by friendly Aussie and Kiwi faces instead of the Italian guys and their Prada sunglasses.

Apparently this girl just likes to be in pictures.

How does Lora look so much more composed than me?? Nice pose!

Kurt meets a guy with lederhosen!
