Much to the dismay of my father I have not posted in the Chronicle for some time. It isn't that I haven't been traveling or doing much, simply a lack of time. At the end of 2012 I was feverishly finishing the work year, preparing for the move to Boston, picking up some freelance design work for more Cincinnati restaurants and prepping the latest selection of Artfully Disheveled ties for a trade show in NYC. 2013 has been pretty insane thus far. Already this year I have spent some time in Miami, NYC (a bunch), a pretty wicked time in SF and a handful of local trips to the mountains around Boston for some snowboarding. I made a sick day trip to Cannon in New Hampshire and spent a day on the slopes in Killington, Vermont with Matt and Nulty. The move to Boston has been a great adventure of its own. It is getting back to biking weather and I have been peddling all over the city. Looking forward to some visitors in the next few weeks. Although this latest adventure may have been the most ridiculous... a long weekend snowboarding in the French and Swiss Alps. The weather was beautiful and the snow was perfect. I rented a great off piste board in Geneva and crushed Chamonix in France for a day before heading to Verbier in Switzerland. The sun was shining and the spring boarding weather was unbeatable. It was a great time and I can thank my hosts Marc and Jaime enough. We had an absolute blast eating and drinking our way through the mountains. Here are some snaps from the 5 day trip.
